Why I wrote this
My grandmother's china set almost didn't survive our last move because the flimsy cardboard box I packed it in started sagging halfway to the new house, and I spent the whole drive white-knuckled listening for the sound of breaking plates. Afterward I compared a couple of dedicated dinnerware storage containers, mostly looking for something with actual rigid sides instead of soft padding alone. This hard shell container has since made two more moves and a year of closet storage without a single chip, and honestly just having plates organized and stacked instead of loose in a cabinet has been its own small win. I wish I'd found this before the china almost became a casualty.
