Why I actually wrote this
I once bought the cheapest vinyl pool float I could find for a backyard party, and by hour two it had both lost half its air and glued itself to my back in the sun, which was not the relaxing afternoon I had planned. My neighbor mentioned she'd had the same sticky-vinyl problem, so we ended up comparing a couple of pricier fabric-covered options together over text, feeling a little ridiculous debating pool floats like it was a major purchase. After that sticky disaster I was ready to spend a little more. The SLOOSH XL lounger turned out to be worth it, soft against skin, no sticking, and it's held air through an entire summer of weekend use. Now it's basically permanent furniture in our pool from May through September.
