Why I wrote this
On a road trip last summer I realized halfway to our destination that I'd forgotten my dog's water bowl entirely, and ended up pouring water into my cupped hands at a rest stop like some kind of amateur. It was messy, my dog got more water on my shirt than in his mouth, and I swore I'd never travel without a proper bowl again. I compared a couple of collapsible silicone options against hard plastic travel bowls, worried the silicone ones would tip over too easily. This set clips onto my bag and pops flat when empty, and it's saved me from the cupped-hands routine on every trip since.
