Buying Guide

3 Steps to Choosing the Right Beach Bag With Cooler

Decide How Long You Need Things Cold

If you're heading out for a 2–3 hour beach session, a basic insulated compartment like the Bluboon's is more than enough — especially with a couple of ice packs. For all-day trips or camping, you may want a dedicated hard-sided cooler instead. Be honest about your use case before buying, because most soft cooler bags (including this one) are optimized for shorter outings.
Think About What Else You're Carrying

A beach bag with a cooler compartment needs to handle more than just drinks. Consider whether you need room for towels, a change of clothes, sunscreen, toys, or a book. The Bluboon's open mesh main compartment is generously sized for most day-trip needs. If you're packing for a family of four, you might want two bags — but for one or two people, this handles it well.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the cooler compartment on the Bluboon Beach Tote actually keep things cold?

Yes — the insulated detachable cooler compartment is designed to maintain cool temperatures for several hours, making it great for drinks, snacks, and perishables at the beach. For best results, pre-chill your items and add ice packs before heading out.
